The Situation
TELUS Digital had built something genuinely useful: an AI ecosystem that let employees safely use large language models without accidentally sharing sensitive company data to the void.
Instead of fighting the inevitable adoption of AI, they chose to get ahead of it.
The tools worked. They'd tested them internally. Now they needed to bring them to market.
The problem? They needed a lot of content, fast.
Product ads. Explainer videos. Event promos. Case studies. A
nd the AI space moves quickly—what's cutting-edge today is old news in a month. Waiting around for a slow content production cycle wasn't an option.
I was brought in by Phill Thompson, who was leading their go-to-market strategy, to help the team move faster without sacrificing quality.

The Work
I embedded with their team and got to work.
Adopted their brand. Immediately. TELUS Digital had existing brand standards—colors, fonts, the whole thing. No learning curve drama. I plugged in, adopted the system, and started producing.
Became a content engine. The team needed volume and variety. Product ads in three aspect ratios. Interview-based explainers. Sizzle reels. GIFs for social. Event promos. Post-event highlight clips. I delivered what they needed, when they needed it.
Made it actually watchable. Here's the thing about B2B tech content: most of it is painfully boring. The same royalty-free corporate track. The same stock footage of people pointing at screens. Everyone does it, and everyone tunes it out.
We did it differently. Lo-fi soundtracks. Mellow hip-hop beats. Music that made you want to keep watching instead of reaching for the mute button.
The content still looked professional—it just didn't feel like homework.

THE OUTPUT
115+ deliverables.
Videos, ads, GIFs, graphics—whatever the team needed.
24+ product ads.
In square, vertical, and 16:9 formats for every platform.
10 interview explainer videos.
Combining real customer interviews with live product demos.
6 events supported.
2 virtual conferences. 4 in-person events. Bumpers, intros, session edits, replay packaging, and ad cuts to drive traffic to recordings.
3 brand videos.
One for each major product line.
The Highlight
One project that captured what we were going for: a promo video for Agent Trainer, an AI-powered tool that lets customer service reps practice realistic calls with voice bots that talk back in real time—and grade their performance.
Cool product. Could have easily become another forgettable explainer.
Instead, we leaned into the brand's neon purple, pink, and green palette and paired it with a vintage 80s synthwave soundtrack.
Added subtle film grain and light leaks. Made something that felt more like a movie trailer than a product demo.
It was fun. It was memorable. And it made people actually want to watch a video about customer service training software.
The Takeaway
Launching a new product in the AI space means moving fast—and producing a lot of content without letting quality slip.
TELUS Digital needed a partner who could plug into their team, match their brand, hit tight deadlines, and bring creative ideas that cut through the noise.
